ATTENDANCE POLICY

Because regular school attendance is critical to high student achievement, it is imperative that every student attends school regularly – starting with the first day of the new school year. Click here to review the Gilroy Unified School District's attendance information.

FOOD SERVICE

Student success depends upon so many conditions. But it often starts with good nutrition. Well-nourished students perform better in the classroom. That’s why the school lunchroom promotes healthy food and lifestyle choices. Every day, the lunch menu includes three kinds of fresh fruit, a fresh vegetable and a canned fruit. Students may take as much as they like from the Garden. Non-fat chocolate and 1% low fat milk are also offered daily.

Students can either bring their lunch or purchase meals. Breakfast costs $1.25 and lunch is $2.10. Milk is $.35.For qualified students, the reduced price for breakfast is $.20 and for lunch it's $.40. An application for "Free & Reduced-Priced Meals" must be completed each year. Students can either pay for lunches with cash or meals can be prepaid in increments of $5. To make online payments visit www.EZSchoolPay.com. You will need your student's food service ID number, which is different from their student number. For  more information contact Debbie Barreras in food service.
